Deb had the ultrasound this morning, and after spending 45 minutes checking for all the fingers, toes, and noses - I mean nose, we got confirmation that Mikey's going to get a baby brother.

The ceremony is Saturday, 4 October 2008, 4:30pm at the The Little Church of the West, 4617 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119 US.

There is no need to wear a suit in case anyone was thinking of that. Wear whatever you like. Deb and I will be dressed up, but I'm not wearing a tie or a tux.

Almost all the other festivities will at least start at the Mandalay Bay across the street. See everyone this weekend.

First off, we're sorry this is coming out so late. We have been swamped at work and we've been wiped out after getting home, sometimes eating dinner, and then getting Mikey to bed.

Here's our "Master Plan" (Subject to change, no refunds due to inclement weather)

Thursday: We arrive in Vegas, probably about 9 PM Vegas time. Meet up with Chrissy and Dan (yes, you guys are on the reservation and can check in without us!) oogle at the suite.

Friday-Day: We will be with Mikey, searching for a Chucky Cheese to celebrate his birthday with his cousin. If any of you will be in town and want to come along to an arcade, let us know. We will NOT be offended if you choose to skip out on the kid-a-thon. Unless you have children and are bringing them with you, then please feel free to partake in the outing and trip to Toys R Us. Your spouse/SO does not count as a child :)

Friday - 6ish -

Saturday - Pool Day, relax day, hang out and do whatever. The Ceremony is at 4:30 - this is Vegas, so the church runs on a schedule as they microwave us in and out of there. We'd suggest a 4:00 pm arrival, as they'll open the doors for us at 4:15.

Saturday - post ceremony - back to our room where we will host a small reception. Then it's dinner, drinks, and a night on the town!

Sunday - We'll be recovering from the hangover and wondering where Deb left her shoes. We leave on Monday, so please stop by or give us a call before you head out to say goodbye!

So what can you say when your wife lets you run away for a week to Durango, Colorado to do nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe beer?

Today was a great day as we had brunch at the Silver Diner, shot a few golf balls, and eventually ate dinner at my favorite restaurant, Rustico. See some of the pictures on the right under "Green Family Photos".

So the Evite went out last week with little details other than the date, time and location of the actual ceremony. None of that has changed. It's still Saturday, 4 October 2008, 4:30pm (1630 for military which by the way, by that time neither Deb nor I will be in the military) at the The Little Church of the West, 4617 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119 US.

Right across the street from the Little Church is the Mandalay Bay. Deb and I have tentatively reserved a room there for the weekend, but we're not dead set on that yet. If you're interested in staying there or someplace else you know has good rates, let us know. Maybe we can negotiate a group rate.

Also, the entertainment agenda has not been formalized or even dreamed up in concept yet. We assume there will be a pre-lube and post-lube, but what they are remains to be seen. Michael turns two on the 2nd of October, so we're also trying to figure out how to do a birthday party for him as well.
